Agatha: Coven of Chaos Set Photo Sparks Speculation About Title Change
By Felipe Rangel for Screen Rant
A new set photo from Marvel Studios' upcoming Disney+ series, Agatha: Coven of Chaos seems to hint at a new title for the Kathryn Hahn show.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos actor Joe Locke shared on his Instagram stories a set photo from the series, which teases a possible retitle of the show — Agnes of Westview.
The Agatha: Coven of Chaos update is interesting, as there has been no mention of a new title for the series lately — following the prior title change from the original Agatha: House of Harkness. The possible new title makes sense, as it directly leads to where the show should start, with Agatha trapped in Westview thinking she is Agnes. If the series is indeed retitled, it would not be that farfetched to assume that the show might spend more time than previously thought on the Westview setting.

Whether the title for the Hahn-led series ends up being Agatha: Coven of Chaos or Agnes of Westview, the series is poised to open up the magic corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a big way. Given the series' current title, rumors circulating the project propose that a number of the actors in the series will be a part of Agatha's coven of witches. Casting for the show has announced quite a batch of new talent to the universe, with a star-studded cast that includes newcomers Joe Locke (rumored to play Wiccan), Aubrey Plaza, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata, Patti LuPone, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, and Okwui Okpokwasili in undisclosed roles.
The new additions to the MCU are not the only actors set to star in the show, with Agatha: Coven of Chaos news confirming the return of a number of WandaVision characters in the spinoff series. Joining Hahn are WandaVision veterans Debra Jo Rupp as Mrs. Hart, Emma Caulfield Ford as Dottie, Kate Forbes as Agatha's mother, Evanora Harkness, and more. The possible retitling to Agnes of Westview seems to hint that an important part of the show, if not a big one, will be set in the Westview town from WandaVision. Now that actor Locke has made the possible new title public, it does shed some light on what role a few of the returning characters could have, with someone like Dottie having been highly speculated to be a bigger character in the original series.
Updates about the Agatha spinoff are being kept mostly under wraps by Marvel Studios, although the rumored role of Wiccan for Locke might point in the series' direction. Agatha: Coven of Chaos' Scarlet Witch's return to the MCU is a possibility. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ended with Wanda seemingly dying after destroying the Darkholds across the multiverse. However, there is a likelihood for the character to return, given the universe's current course with the multiverse. If Agatha: Coven of Chaos does include Wanda's son, Wiccan, it means there is a reasonable chance Elizabeth Olsen at least cameos in the series.
